The broad objectives of this workshop included introducing Advanced youth fellows to the importance of literature review in research, giving them hands on experience in conducting an online literature search. The facilitator,             Dr. Amarendra Gandhi, invited participants to write down their main research questions and highlight the most relevant key words. He then trained them in conducting relevant online searches for their respective research projects using various search engines.

The facilitator also trained participants in conducing online searches in multiple languages. This led to a discussion on how information on the internet is organized, managed, controlled and influenced by social and political dynamics.

Participants shared that the workshop enabled them to hone their skills in online searches and subsequently facilitated the literature review process.
