Dialogue Circle

Dialogue Circle

This year the Youth Fellowship team discussed the importance of youth fellows being informed about current political and social issues so that they are not only focused on their research topics but also are in touch with everyday issues in their communities, city or the nation/world at large. Thus the concept of a dialog circle was created as a space to collect, share and get information – allowing youth fellows an opportunity  to formulate their own opinions and take a stand for/against any current pressing socio-political issues. The unique process of this workshop centers around sharing through the medium of a conversation. Therefore, the facilitator doesn’t engage in lecturing or presenting information to the audience but instead shares information through a question answer session. Dialogue circles will be held once every month from February 2011 onwards.
